Crew Up Privacy Policy

Crew Up Inc. (“Crew Up,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Crew Up iOS application (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy and in our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, city/state, and professional details relevant to production work (credits, roles, company affiliation).

Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Services, including IP address, device and browser type, pages or screens viewed, timestamps, and diagnostic data.

Location data. With your permission, we may collect approximate or precise location data from your mobile device to help match you with nearby jobs, crew, or productions. You can disable this at any time in your device settings.

Payment information. Subscription payments made through the Crew Up iOS app are processed by Apple's in-app purchase system in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details for those purchases.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Operate, maintain, and personalize the Services, including matching crew with productions;
• Process subscription payments and manage your account;
• Communicate with you about your account, transactions, or updates to the Services;
• Monitor, secure, and improve the Services, including detecting fraud or abuse;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features. The Services do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Services (hosting, analytics, customer support, payment processing), under confidentiality obligations;
• Other Users, to the extent you choose to share profiles or contact information through the platform;
• Legal or safety authorities, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Crew Up or others;
• A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy or a materially similar one.

5. Your Privacy Rights

All users. You can access, correct, or delete most of your account information directly in your account settings, or by emailing help@crewup.co. Deleting your account removes your personal data from active systems, subject to limited retention where required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we've collected, used, and disclosed about you;
• Delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information, and any “sharing” is limited to standard analytics cookies, which you can control as described above);
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information;
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us at help@crewup.co. We'll take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding, and we'll respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days, extendable once by an additional 45 days with notice).

Other state privacy laws. If you reside in a state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or others), you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. 6. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old, consistent with our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at help@crewup.co and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or from the Services.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

9. International Users

The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

10. Links to Other Websites

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services we don't operate. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll provide reasonable notice — for example, by email or an in-app notice — before it takes effect. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
